A listing snapshot is a collection of data that is created from a specific listing at the time of purchase. The purpose of this system is to ensure that the buyer received the exact same product that they ordered.

Listing snapshots are available for a period of six months and contain information such as the listing name, product condition, product information, pricing details, primary and secondary listing pictures, and the listing description with text formatting removed to optimize storage space.

It's important to note that even if the seller deletes the original listing, the snapshot will still be available for review. This feature provides a level of transparency and accountability in transactions and helps to resolve disputes between buyers and sellers in a more objective manner.
