What will happen if I file a chargeback with my bank?

If you have filed a chargeback with your bank for a purchase made on Shopiro, please be aware that every chargeback case is unique and will be assessed on a case by case basis. Our internal fraud investigation and compliance departments will review the chargeback to ensure that it is legitimate. If we find that the chargeback is not legitimate, or if we find that you are frequently filing chargebacks, we may have to temporarily or indefinitely restrict your buying ability.

We strongly encourage you to use our dispute system to resolve any issues you may have with the seller before filing a chargeback. If you have a history of filing chargebacks without making any attempts to resolve the issue(s) with the seller(s), it is considered a red flag for us.

If a dispute is open while we are notified that a chargeback has been filed, the dispute will be put on hold until the case is closed. Shopiro takes it upon ourselves to follow all applicable laws and regulations, and we will work with you to ensure that any issues are resolved in a fair and timely manner.

We want to remind our users that enabling dual-factor authentication is an important step in securing their account and preventing unauthorized access. If you suspect that your account has been accessed by a stranger, please contact our customer service immediately for assistance.
