Dual factor authentication, or 2FA, is an important security feature that adds an extra layer of protection to your Shopiro account. It requires a unique pin generated by an app like Google Authenticator to log in to your account. However, in case you lose the link to your Authenticator app, it can be quite frustrating. Here's what you can do:

Use your backup codes: When enabling 2FA, you are provided with multiple backup codes that can be entered on any 2FA field. Once used, these codes cannot be used again. If you can log in using a backup code but have no remaining backup codes, you can generate new ones by disabling and re-enabling 2FA. Please note that disabling 2FA requires a code generated from the current 2FA link or burning a second backup code.

Contact customer service: If you are unable to log in with your 2FA pin or backup code(s), you will need to reach out to our customer service using the Guest support feature. Our customer service agent may ask for official documents or information proving that you are the account owner. Please note that documents provided as evidence are handled according to our privacy policy.

Store your backup codes securely: To prevent losing access to your account due to a lost 2FA link, it is important to store your backup codes in a secure manner. You can write them down on a piece of paper and store it in a secure location.

We understand that losing access to your account can be a frustrating experience, but we are here to help you resolve the issue as quickly and efficiently as possible.
